Consider advertising on the Gun Lake Winterfest web site. The Gun Lake WinterFest happens February 19th and 20th. Ads are only $10 for a small ad and the stay online until December 2010. Links provided to your web site. The Barry Chamber and the WinterFest committee are also looking for sponsors for the event. Contact the Barry County Chamber for more information.

Due to economic times and a lack of interest in a few communities, I have had to consider some changes for the web site. All the features for the web site will remain. Businesses will be listed for all area communities and continue to list only local businesses.

The former business web site OLCNOW will be discontinued and all information contained there will be moved to the Gun Lake Online web site. Access to the information will be from the side menu under "List your business with us." All new billings will be from Boxwebs, the creator and host of Gun Lake Online.

will for the time being continue to function, but visitors will be re-directed to www.gunlakeonline.com. Those community web pages will still be used, but will be separate pages of Gun Lake Online and accessible from the side menu of Community pages and updated as we get information for them. We still encourage community participation and will be looking for individuals who would like to contribute community information to those pages. The community pages will be informational portals to community links and general information and continue to feature businesses listed with Gun lake Online.

90% of the traffic for the community web sites was generated by Gun Lake Online and all businesses were viewable to those viewing our pages. Gun Lake Online has links to it from The Wayland Chamber, Gun lake Business Association, and Gun Lake Tourism web sites and in most searches, continues to be on the first page of Google searches for various businesses in the area.

If your business is in the surrounding communities that we service, you will be found on our web site by listing with us. A one time membership fee of $10.00 will give you a Standard Business Listing. At least your business will be listed in a local directory and not lost in other directories that include large cities and endless searches that local consumers need to go through to find a local business.

We support Buy Local or Think Local first campaigns. we encourage our visitors to keep their money in their communities by shopping local.

There may be a few glitches here and there with the community pages, History pages and others, but the businesses listings will be completely functional as we continue to combine and improve the web site. We would like to see more contributors for our Local Community pages. Send your information and/or photo's to the webmaster.
